Who Invented The Phone?
Not necessarily, Alexander Graham Bell - perhaps even was a bandit.
Whoever very first submitted a patent for a telephone was the Italian Antonio Meucci. He emigrated to America in 1850 and started in time to develop what he called a teletrofono.
Meucci took out a provisional patent on the invention in 1871. This was 5 years before Bell took out his patent.The phone was an radical innovation.
